The Pedagogical Academy in Lodz provides distance learning involving new technologies according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education regulations 9/05/2008. Academy offers first cycle studies in the field of Pedagogy and Special Education. Faculties run in the part time mode, that is 60% of the faculties’ program is transferred online, the 30% left requires participation of the students in classes held in The Pedagogical Academy in Lodz.
Non-formal learning (courses and trainings) offers 100% of the program online. The Pedagogical Academy in Lodz has a repository of courses and trainings that is still growing.
Online classes support the process of traditional learning. Distance learning supported by new technologies offers new way of gaining knowledge – in modern, flexible way (time and place of learning is not limited). Students log in to e-learning platform and participate in online contents and meetings with teachers. Online contents are prepared as the autonomous object of knowledge. This object contains essential didactic content, infograms, links, digital library quiz, test, multimedia, case study, chat and forum.
